Terms and conditions

The service

ResumeAI is an online resume builder. You can write and edit resumes, check them against applicant tracking systems, use AI to rewrite or tailor them, publish them at a public link and download them as PDFs. Everything is delivered in your browser; nothing physical is sold or shipped.

Your account

• You sign in with an email address or a supported social login. Keep your login secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old, or have a parent’s or guardian’s permission.
• One person per account. Accounts may not be shared or resold.

Plans, credits and payment

The Free plan costs nothing. The paid plans are:

• Plus: ₹699 a month as an auto-renewing subscription (payments in INR), or $9.99 as a one-time payment for 30 days that does not renew (payments in USD). Includes 800 AI credits a month.
• Pro: ₹1,499 a month as an auto-renewing subscription (payments in INR), or $14.99 as a one-time payment for 30 days that does not renew (payments in USD). Includes 3,000 AI credits a month.

• AI features use credits. Your plan’s credits reset each month and unused credits do not carry over.
• Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see or store your card or bank details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Plans page; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
• We may change prices. A change never affects a period you have already paid for, and subscribers are told before it applies to them.
• Refunds are covered by our refund and cancellation policy.

Your content

• Your resumes stay yours. You give us only the permission needed to store them, process them (including sending them to our AI provider when you use an AI feature) and show them where you choose to publish them.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your resume. AI suggestions can be wrong; review them before you use them.
• Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringes someone else’s rights, or is about another person without their consent.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no automated scraping, reselling of credits, attempts to bypass limits or payments, attacks on the service, or use of it to create fraudulent documents. We may suspend accounts that do.

Availability and liability

We work to keep ResumeAI running and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that a resume made with it will get you an interview or a job. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Ending your account

You can stop using ResumeAI at any time and ask us to delete your account by email. We may close accounts that break these terms; if we close one without cause we refund any unused paid period.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and material changes are announced on the site. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of India.
